![]() ![]() Benedict's first move against Hyzante is to cut off the Consortium trade routes and send Clarus back to Hyzante. Meanwhile, Archduke Gustadolph is summoned to Whiteholm Castle for a meeting with Serenoa and Benedict in the hopes of joining forces to take down Hyzante together. Instead of attacking the mines, they bring Minister Exharme back to defend the castle instead. Due to the political changes in Glenbrook, Hyzante no longer has a hold on Serenoa when he joined the Saintly Seven, so they must now take a different approach. By choosing this path, Frederica agrees that her people will be freed by this outcome, and she will not defect from the group. Roland chooses to hand over the Glenbrook throne to Serenoa before leaving the group. A lot of stuff happens here between Roland and Serenoa and several secrets come to light between them. In this section, Benedict's vote won, and Roland will become absolutely outraged at Serenoa's decision to make an agreement with Archduke Gustadolph. If you've taken them along on every battle up until now, their relationship with Serenoa will be high enough to influence them here, but of course, it matters on what Serenoa chooses to say when he speaks to them. Remember that there are ways to boost your persuasion over them, mentioned in the Serenoa's Convictions System page, such as upgrading their weapons at the Blacksmith and promoting them at the Sundry Shop. Frederica, Roland, and Benedict will not be persuaded, so you must persuade the remaining members-Geela, Anna, Hughette, and Erador.ĭepending on your relationship with these members, persuading them will be successful or unsuccessful. There is a servant in the room with a green indicator over his head as well that you can talk to. The Wolffort Soldier at the door won't let you leave the room, but by speaking to him you can strengthen Serenoa's convictions which might increase your chances of persuasion, so it's worth speaking with him. There are three different possibilities this time and the vote made will possibly cause one member of the voting party to defect, so choose wisely. ![]() Roland wishes to surrender to Hyzante since he believes that all will be equal under the Goddess, Frederica wishes to use this opportunity to free her people from The Source, while Benedict plans to seize the mines and work together with Archduke Gustadolph to end Hyzante's complete control over Norzelia's salt trade. There isn't any wrong answer here, but depending on the choices you make, ties may be broken amongst the party. This is an incredibly monumental chapter and will shape the ending of the game, the player must choose between following either Benedict’s, Roland’s or Frederica’s proposal.
