And I loved how it explained the different ways that baby was learning in each leap, it was very neat. Though one baby app I did invest in was the wonder weeks app, and that was amazing at giving us an idea of when leaps would be and when we may encounter more grumpiness, fighting sleep, etc. I do much better with tactile lists and things rather than electronic. We tracked everything for about 2 months then once baby was having regular bottles we just tracked sleep, since we could remember at that point if he'd had enough wet/dirty diapers. I also noted down notes from drs appointments, milestones, etc in it and put some photos in it so it's a nice keepsake now. The soft band is positioned on the baby’s leg, and the sensor records heart rate. I do think that apps may be useful for reminders, but we did fine with the notebook. Baby brand Halo has unveiled a new smart baby tracker at CES 2023, that keeps tabs on children’s vitals. Plus, we didn't have to spend money on an app. It was easy since both my partner and I could use it (he took over nights pretty quickly, plus I went back into the hospital without baby at 2 weeks postpartum). As your baby grows out of the Nb stage and gets into more of a routine it will help you keep track of wake windows and see patterns as far as being over/undertired so you can try to adjust things if you’re having issues with short naps or night wakings or fighting sleep. The Talli baby tracker logs everything parents track and pediatricians ask about - with one touch of a button. The fully configurable tracker uses Wi-Fi to send data to the Talli Baby app, where you can see everything in real-time and share data with your doctor and other caregivers. Overall, sleep is the biggest selling point for me and why I still use it… especially if you don’t have a unicorn baby who is a good sleeper. The Talli Baby tracker is a quick, easy, screen-free way to log feedings, diapers, sleep & more with one touch of a button. It displays on the screen “last ate/slept/etc x hours ago”. like diaper changes aren’t as important to me anymore, but it’s nice to keep track of feedings and sleep. I do think I’m going to start weaning off of it in certain aspects. Sure, we could’ve purchased 2 devices to keep on each level of the house… but why when there are free online apps and in this day and age most people always have their phone on them? Also I’m not sure if Talli has an app to use when you’re not at home but if not, then I see that as a con as well.Īs for apps, I really love huckleberry and 4.5 months later still use it. ![]() We have a 2 story house and often change or feed the baby wherever we are, he also doesn’t sleep in just one room… we have a bassinet still in our room, we transitioned to naps in a crib in his own room, and a lot of times in the nb days we wore him or he fell asleep on walks. I almost got a Talli but I couldn’t find many reviews on it.
